Hear, my son, about your wife
Proverbs 5:15-19

Proverbs 5:15-19 is a wise father’s counsel for his son to find a wise wife. A wise wife will make a wise a man wiser still but a foolish wife will make a fool of him.
While this passage has a specific application to those who are not yet married, it also calls every married person to be wise and to rejoice in their wise spouse.
And the good news of the Bible is that God sent his Son to be our bridegroom. We are the bride of Christ, holy and dearly love. We are the church that God purchased with his own blood. He loves us and will be faithful to see us become holy and happy. He will be faithful to see the church become like Christ and that is our true joy.
