Strategies for Living in a Foreign Land
1 Peter 2:11-12

The Word of God calls us to live as exiles in a fallen world. That is, you and I to live like we are citizens of another kingdom who are away from home. We are ambassadors for the kingdom of heaven.
We are to live like the country we represent both in what we do and what we don’t do.
Christians are conspicuous people because we are a holy, heavenly people.
So our call today assumes that you are a Christian. That, in the words of 1 Peter, you personally have been born again into the household of God and we together are being built into a spiritual household in which God dwells.
You and I are to live in response to WHO we are, not WHERE we are.
