The Hope of Our Obedience
Romans 15:8-13

The God who has shown us mercy has asked us to think and live in light of that mercy, Rom. 12:1-2. He has instructed us to obey Him in all of life (ch 12), in all circumstances (ch 13) and in all relationships (ch 14). Now, Paul begins to summarize the letter by asking us to consider what we hope to see in ourselves and in our world as a result of that obedience.

He offers Christ as the first example, His obedience resulted in many nations giving glory to God.
