We have run into something even harder than the reality that some whom we love will not be saved. We have run into the hardness of our own stubborn hearts that want to remain self-styled gods and want God’s work to be dependent upon our work. We intend to break up this hardness today with a deep display of the justice and mercy of God, which is our joy.
