God Does Not Justify Us for Us
Romans 1-8
Series: Just Glory   |   Robert Campbell

There is no room for us to be self-righteous before God. Some say, “I am for justice,” while others say, “We are standing against tyranny.” Romans teaches us to count on God alone.

Because Jesus is the only righteous sovereign, to whom God the father has given all judgment, we take our confidence in God alone. We need God to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves; God did that in sending the Son to be our representative and God is restoring us and all this by His Spirit within us.
