Outreach Claims the World
Matthew 21:33-46

The church is described as a vineyard that is expected to bear fruit. What we are saying, explicitly, is that this church has born fruit in these trying times because we have been churching according to God's command and not fiddling around with fads and movements. Is that clear? Why are we doing well? Because we have worshipped with joy on the Lord's Day feeding on the Word and communion and because we have been trained and pruned by the discipleship of members with a catechism and elders with authority.

The church, the fruitful vine, goes out into the world to declare that Jesus is Lord of the vineyard and that He makes claim to the whole thing.
