To Know God as Father
Matthew 6:9-13

There is always higher ground; a firmer place to stand, a better view or a more substantial moral position. In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), the higher ground is found in you and I becoming better disciples. That is, in becoming more like our heavenly Father. By teaching us to pray to our heavenly Father, Jesus is seeking to make us like our heavenly Father so that the world will see His glory shining from the hilltops.
