The Last Adam
Romans 5:12-21

Adam represents the entire human race and so every son of Adam and every daughter of Eve inherits Adam’s nature, Adam’s disobedience and Adam’s death. In the same way, Jesus comes to represent all who are in Him so that they are fully and finally transferred from “in Adam” to “in Christ.” We who are in Christ, the second Adam, benefit from His work and destiny.
