We can be disappointed by the church, sometimes truly and sometimes because our expectations were wrong. We can be disappointed by the providence of God, but that is because we measure the wrong thing and the wrong amount of time. Today, I am calling you to celebrate the gift of Christ, the gift of the church, and the gift of a fruitful discipleship - even in those hard providences.
