An Invitation to Rest
Genesis 2:1-3

It’s hard for humans to rest. Why is that? One of the reasons is that we feel like our greatest worth comes from being able to show the world what we accomplish with our hands. But what if God knew this about us before He created the world? What if He saw our work as being such a potential idol for us that He went ahead and modeled something He didn’t even need in order to graciously provide for our needs?
