The Household of Abraham
Romans 1:1-17

Who are your people? What kind of story do you tell yourself? Where do you and your family fit into the story? What relationship do they have to all God’s people?
You are in Christ and members of this Christian household. The household says “You are welcome here.” You belong. Pull up a chair, tonight you get to lead the doxology. You have a people and an identity. You come from good stock. You don’t have to prove yourself but ti will ask something of you, that you come - more and more - to look like and live like a child of Abraham.
