This passage includes 5 women, 4 of whom are very unexpected in the line of the Messiah. These 4 women that find their way not only into the physical ancestry of Jesus, but into our spiritual ancestry.

Jesus is the king of blessing for all creation, but we are the children of Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba.
