Peter is finalizing the strong foundation of our identity in Christ and in the church before he starts to ask us to do hard things. Last time he highlighted that we exist in order to worship, now he focuses on our work. We exist to worship and to work. We praise Him and we proclaim Him, we come to Him and we go to them.
